Our Governance and Leadership Framework

The WPEN Board provides strategic oversight, governance, and long-term direction for the organization. The Board ensures alignment with WPEN’s vision, mission, and values while safeguarding ethical leadership, transparency, and sustainability.

Olamide Elizabeth Adeleye is a multi-disciplinary professional whose work spans law, arbitration, real estate development, education, literature, and social impact. She is a lawyer, Chartered Arbitrator, author, poet, and real estate developer with over two decades of experience across legal practice, advisory services, and leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from the University of Ibadan in 2000 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002 as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She later obtained a Master of Laws (LL. M) from Queen Mary University of London, strengthening her expertise in commercial and property-related law.

Kefilwe Rasedie is a Botswanan-born global professional based in Canada, with a distinguished career spanning education, finance, and women’s empowerment. She holds an MBA, a Diploma in University Teaching from the University of New Brunswick, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Botswana. Her international career includes roles in Canada as a tax advisor, college instructor, and professional trainer. Kefilwe has also gained extensive teaching and training experience across diverse regions, including Dubai, South Africa, Hong Kong, and Mongolia, equipping her with a strong global perspective and cross-cultural expertise.

OLAMIDE ELIZABETH ADELEYE

In 2010, Olamide founded YBA & Co. Solicitors, a corporate and commercial law firm based in Lekki, Lagos, where she serves as Principal Partner. Her practice covers Property and Land Law, Commercial and Corporate Law, consultancy, legal research, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). She is known for her analytical depth, ethical rigor, and practical approach to complex legal issues.

Motivated by persistent trust gaps in property ownership, particularly affecting Nigerians in the diaspora, she expanded into real estate development. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Dwellings Limited, a company focused on delivering residential and commercial projects designed to protect and serve diaspora clients.

Olamide is deeply committed to education, mentorship, and professional development. She serves as Academic and Training Advisor to the FELIREP Advisory Board, supporting capacity building for women in legal and real estate practice. She also holds a CELTA certification from the University of Cambridge and teaches Communication Skills, bringing a globally informed perspective shaped by years of international living. Her work has earned both national and international recognition, including an award from the GlobalWiin Community in London for innovative leadership. She currently serves as Global President of Women Pioneers Africa, an organization advancing the empowerment of African women worldwide.

A creative at heart, Olamide is also an accomplished poet and author. She has published Canvas & Scroll and Quote Me, I’m 50, inspiring collections of poetry and reflections that explore purpose, resilience, and personal growth. She recently published her third book, Do It Right, a professional guide on real estate practice. Through her companies’ CSR initiatives, she supports education, digital literacy, workforce inclusion, and employee welfare reflecting her commitment to building humane, future-focused institutions.

Deeply passionate about empowering women, Kefilwe is the co-founder of Single Mothers Safe Haven in Botswana and convenes an annual women’s conference in Africa focused on leadership, economic empowerment, and personal development. She currently supports African women in accessing educational opportunities by facilitating enrollment in European Business Institute programmes.

In addition, Kefilwe is a strong advocate for diaspora engagement, committed to fostering meaningful connections between Africans at home and abroad
